Fantastic location for a real "get away from it all" break. Bob, the owner, really helpful and considerate without imposing. Mrs G, Bishop's Stortford, Hertfordshire 03 January 2011
We holiday in the UK every Autumn and I have to say, this is our favourite cottage and location yet. The cottage is well equipped and spacious. The location is remote but accessible and surrounded by wildlife (we even had a deer in the garden one morning). Try the walks around Linn of Dee. The drive through Glen Shee is worth the trip alone. There are some great walks near the cottage too and we will do more of these next year. I would write more, but don't want to spoil the surprises. Mr P, Worksop, Nottinghamshire 01 November 2010
I would love to recommend this cottage to others, but I fear I may not get in again! It was fantastic, the owner was most helpful, if you wanted him to be, otherwise he respected your privacy. Mrs H, BINGLEY, West Yorkshire 05 September 2010
The owner bob could not do any more to make our stay better, very helpful with place to go and see. The cottage is in a perfect position to see wildlife and stroll amongst the hills. Mr G, Boldon Colliery, Tyne And Wear 08 August 2010
Great rural location. Nearby pottery with complimentary coffee. Lovely scenery, walks and of course wildlife. Everything from, chickens, woodpecker, deer, eagles, buzzards, sheep and cows. .... Very relaxing holiday, with approachable landlord but gave you space to enjoy your holiday. We have now been going back to Dalvanie for 4 years now. Bob is clearly doing something right in Glen Isla. Mrs P, MELROSE 11 November 2009
A first class property set in a beautiful part of the world where the owner couldn't have been any more helpful. Mrs M, Girvan, Ayrshire 07 June 2009
Most enjoyable stay, made to feel very welcome. Great hospitality, thanks, fabulous. Mrs C, Tranent 20 January 2009
Thanks again. 3rd visit really enjoyed walking and exploring. Loads of deer on hills. See you again. Mrs P, MELROSE, 20 January 2009
What a break, peace & quiet, lovely views & walks. We have had a lovely break, what a shame the week went so fast. Mr W, BURTON-ON-TRENT, Staffordshire 20 January 2009
Scenic surroundings in a tranquill setting this is the idea location for a relaxing break. Mrs S, Newton Abbott, Devon 12 January 2009
The owner has thought of everything. We arrived to a welcome bottle of wine and a Christmas present for each of us, with the fires ready to light. The dog run was an added bonus and meant we didn't worry when the dogs went outside. A truly relaxing environment, we had a wonderful Christmas and will definitely return. Mr A, Southampton, Hampshire 27 December 2008
